Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very famous. She was raised by her mom in the USA. She was subjected to racial remarks and felt unloved. When she attended a 9th grade school audition where she was praised for her singing as she built confidence. Not only did she gain confidence through the audition, but she also changed the direction of her career. At the age of 22, she was able to graduate from the Julliard School of New York. At the age of 23, her first Broadway performance with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail were both her big breakthroughs. However her greatest breakthrough came when she played the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway performance of Spamalot garnering not only an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. Following that, she was cast as Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. She is known as a performer and also released a single and an extended version of her play. In addition, she's an activist who fights in the fight for LGBT rights.
