Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She is a proponent of animal rights. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, and then turned to modeling and acting. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actor. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international success, earning the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the world after only three films. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and others. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
