Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was a huge success, and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
